Description
Up for auction is my 1966 AMC Ambassador DPL.
I have had this car for about 8 years but I have to let it go because I don't have the sheet metal skills to bring it back to condition.
(and already restored a Javelin)
The car runs and drives great - 327V8, 4 bbl Holley carb, Accel electronic ignition.
Suspension is in great shape. Tires are in good shape.
The tranny was rebuilt and it has less than 100 miles on the rebuild. Engine runs great and strong.
Exhaust is dual with glasspacks, I believe. Needs donut gaskets.
Rear end is posi out of a Marlin and is strong.
Interior has a few rips in seats but has very nice covers on them.
The headliner is currently out but I have it as well as all the trim pieces.
If you have the sheet metal skills this would be a great car for you, or if you need one hell of a drivetrain in another car then jump on this!
The vinyl top is useless from the sun.
The unibody frame members are all solid, it's just sheet metal rust as you can see in the pictures.
There are several pictures and a couple videos
